Are you coming?
Am I invisible or are you refusing to see me?
What is the matter with you?
Are you doubting I am human?
Is my complexion obscuring your vision?
You see everything around me.
What is wrong with your eyes?
Wait, wait! watch your steps.
I can’t breathe, when you kneel on my neck to show your eminence.
I can’t breathe, when you step on my God-given dignity,
Blocking the winds of freedom, knowledge and self-awareness.
Enough, today I rise!
What do you think I am going to do to you?
Are you afraid that I might hurt you?
That is not befitting of a seeker of peace and justice.
I am on my way to equity and liberty.
Are you coming?
